New engine for only $895 installed? Cylinder 6 Misfiring
Ok
Love this place, you guys always help me! Well I posted earlier that I just purchased my 4runner.. this place has been a great help, I got to fix a lot of my 4runners problems:
1. Missing Muffler, 2. Installed AC Condenser Fan, 3. Refilled AC, etc..
Well I went ahead and I wanted to get a complete tuneup on my truck to make sure its working in tip top shape...
I went and bought what you guys recommended, NGK Spark Plugs, NGK Spark Plug Wire Set.
Replacing the spark plugs was a pain, finally managed to do them, EXCEPT, I got a problem with Cylinder 6... Everytime I inserted a Spark Plug, the top of the Spark Plug gets bent? So I am having a misfiring on Cylinder 6..
I removed the spark plug, reinserted it, and voila it did it again... I did this about 3 times, thinking Im doing something, I even inserted 2 new plugs in that hole??
So I went to see my local mechanic and he told me that it could be an issue that the Piston is hitting the spark plug? and that my Cylinder 6 is dead? and I should get a new engine..
I found an awesome deal online, good until May 6, 2013... Complete Rebuild 3VZE, installed for only $895... I know I know, I want to go ahead with the conversion to a 3.4, but its costlier, and I havent a found a place that wants to do it, and the place I found wants $3000 to do it...
Here is the link on the new engine: It comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty.. for only $895 installed is this too good to be true or what you guys think?

Thanks..

I had 2 other people look at my truck and they say it sounds fine....
I had to adjust the time a little more.. with both the rotor and throttle to get to 1000 rpm... im guessing my MPG's are going to drop like crazy.......
So Im getting mixed suggestions... My truck hasnt overheated, no oil in the radiator, the oil looks good, the plugs looked good, however sometimes when I start it there is white smoke but then it goes away...
Or do you think I should just drive it the way it is until something happens?? Im not sure what to do?

Thanks gentleman,
Well after going to 3 mechanics, and finally inserting all the spark plugs correctly. We got a major problem, my Cylinder 2 was always the culprit. We ran a couple of Compression Tests and it was hitting 20 psi. I have not done the wet test.
So right now Im baffled, the truck is running great, it hesitates a little on stop and on a red light, but it reaches 100mph on the freeway, and the 4runner is such a great ride.
The problem im having is that im stuck at a cross roads... - thats probably why I initially thought I got a good deal on it, i paid $1600, its very clean in and out, all the buttons work, etc., etc.
So a head gasket job is $975.. A new totally remanufactured motor from a local japanase compnay here is $1400 plus installation ($600 from his shop), or rebuild my motor for $1800.00...
Or go with the guy I gave you the link... $895 if I have a good core... I just dont want to go there and be cheated out like a lot of his reviews.... it starts at $895.. plus this plus that..
So what do you guys suggest? Its running pretty good right now, no overheating, it doesnt hesitate that bad, it does make a rattle when I first take off, but other than that im pretty happy with it... here is a video of almost the same rattle it makes:
