New to 4runners
#21
When I bleed the brakes I bench bled the new MC, then front left, front right, rear left, rear right, LSPV last. I did continue getting air out of the LSPV for a long time, it would not stop but I think that was coming in from the bleeder threads. I'm going to give it another shot when I get some free time. I'm using a pressure bleeder as well.

you can gravity bleed the brakes, too. i've used that successfully on many vehicles, including both of my 4runners. no pedal pumping, no vacuum pump. i start at the RR, the the LR, then the lspv, then RF, and finally LF. just crack the bleeder at each location in turn, and allow the fluid to flow for a while until no bubbles come out (helps to use a clear rubber line attached to the bleeder). just pay attention to the fluid level in the master and don't let it get below 1/2 full. i've found this method actually uses less brake fluid than either pumping method (pedal or vacuum).

Ah, nonstop bubbles will do it, one of the connections is just loose enough for it. Brass brush always does well in my experience. If you’re reusing lines and wanna clean them off well to get them to seal properly that’s where I’d look first
