Not so easy to get. Most have been damaged, like yours.

I have repaired mine with J B Weld and misc. pieces of plastic for reinforcement on the inside.

Ya use some sandpaper to break any shine or glaze on the surfaces to be glued, degrease with alcohol or acetone and apply JB goo.

Clamp or otherwise secure the joint. Wait til cured......

This is a 1989 Gen1 4Runner.
It still uses a W56 B transmission.
It is NOT a forward shift transmission.

Note the pocket thing up front,
BTW - the trim piece from around the radio is removed
and
Im in the middle of re wiring stuff, so the radio area is a mess

be aware that some of the bezels have a pocket up front (as the shifters were located back by a few inches?)

eWong is correct. The '88 should have the forward pocket. If they show up on eBay they are expensive. I posted a want ad here in the classifieds and a few days later a member sold me one for $40. I figure if Toyota still sold them they'd cost $150. OEM is expensive.

ive been toying with the idea of trying to 3d print these. i have about 2/3 of the trim piece from mine but it's not complete ( passenger side is missing a good chunk). i might try to sit down and draw it up in cad over thanksgiving, however i need to measure the print table size of the printers on campus. would yall be willing to buy some if i get it figured out? or at the least critique the drawings and or early design?

I'd like to hear if this actually works.

JBWeld is epoxy with some ground metal in it. The trim pieces appear to be something close to Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE). JBWeld will not stick at all to LDPE. I use the top of a yogurt container as my "mixing palette," and once set the JBWeld peels off very cleanly. The trim pieces may be a different plastic (some will stick to epoxy), but I would be surprised.
