People start new threads like this so that people like us will take the time to reply to them, and it seems to be working. I took time out of my busy day to reply, I'm not sure why, but I did. Oh yeah, my O2 sensor works just fine too.:flush:

Recently I have been scratching my head on the same issue. SR5 water temp guage springs up to the same spot. I haven't gotten the time to troubleshoot it, and i want to get a fresh sender to substitute...
There seems to be conflicting info about the location of the sender for the guage on the mid-late 80s 22RE. My fsm indicates that its mounted under the intake, into the block near the rear of the engine. I read someone elses message saying its up on the top of the intake between #2 and #3. Whats up with that?

Just in case anyone was wondering, just about everything on my truck works fine!

My manual sunroof works awesome. So does my aftermarket horn.

Not sure it even relates.......but I was told it's between #2 & #3 in the intake.
