Looks amazing. I'd stop and look at it if I saw that out and about.
Awesome you guys are doing it together. All my dad ever taught me was "here's your triple a card AAA" haha never fixed anything and never taught me how to fix it. Just paid to get anything fixed.

What are the specs on the truck in this pic? I love the tires, wheels, front bumper, etc.

Thanks,

-D

'93, 22RE motor. 31x10.5x15 tires with some old rims that came on the truck. Not sure what the brand on the rims. What else you want to know about it?

Im running 32X11.5 with no suspension work on my pick up and have minimal rub. I did cut back the wheel wells a bit though behind the tire

They look like Chrome Steelie 10-holes... Kinda like a mock up of the outlaw 2's. I've seen them with chrome trim and black center... Chrome trim and gold center... LOTS of ways. Many brands made them.... Still do, actually. He can probably find em for around 100$ used if he's hungry to find them enough, ya know? ("HE", meaning the guy who asked you about your 'SPECS', hehe)..

Yeah, man... just had to stop in again and letcha know... LOOKS GREAT and I'm stoked for yer son! EXCITING TIME! And what a cool first rig to roll around, eh?

We cranked up the torsion bars to get the lift in the front, but the rear is all stock. This truck sat pretty high for being stock. Not sure why it sat so high because I have seen stock trucks the same year and they sit pretty low compared to this one.

Tightens up the ride pretty stiff, Matt... Maybe slap in some 4crawler.com(member here) 1.5" bj spacers for PRETTY CHEAP... then RELAX the T-bars back. (Just suggestions if you find the rid too stiff and too much flex up front is lost... Which is minimal with our IFS bubbas as it is, ya know? lol).

BUT, then again.... FOR NOW, IT DOES THE TRICK! lol.

Ok Ok!!!! We will work on that rear bumper.....lol! I did notice the same thing on the rear axle. Not exactly sure why it is off center. It seems to ride and drive just fine. We are going to work on a custom front bumper. He is trying to get idea's together on what he want's to do.

Well haven't had much progress on the truck recently. Changed out all the tie rod ends and got an alignment. Also had some clutch issues, but got that all figured out. Truck is running and driving great. My son got his license and has been driving the truck as much as he can. He went camping with some friend's of his this weekend and his friend just bought a '93 Yota. I guess his friend ended up getting his truck stuck in the water and my son pulled him out. He was pretty excited! Here are some pics of them hanging out.
