-My New Truck- 1994 Toyota Pickup

So, I traveled to Michigan to get a Toyota Pickup... I guess that would be because of the influence of Yotatech and my boyfriend. It's my first truck but I have a lot of ideas as to what I would like to do with it. I've been working with my boyfriend (chapman88sr5) for the last year on his 88 4-Runner, so I've already learned a thing or two...

1994 Toyota Pickup
22re Engine
4x4
5 Speed
Soon to have...
31x10.5 Maxxis Big Horn M/T's & 15" Black Powder-Coated Rock Crawler rims

The Before...

However...
So far we have herculined the front bumper, painted the grille and the back bumper black, got a tune up that included wires, plugs, cap and rotor and pcv with a sea foam treatment. I want to get rid of all the chrome on it... so we're almost there already! It's in the shop right now and will post pics with the black later.

Michigan, huh? Be sure to check the inside of the frame near the gas tank for rust.

Well, I can't say we did too much sanding. We did get as much as we could off and then cleaned it really good with xylol. It seemed to go on just fine, now the question is as to whether it will last. I would like the door handles to be black but those are a little trickier... let me know if you figure out a way to get 'em black and stay that way! Ha.

i hurculined my truck back in august. did the bottom rocker panels, front chrome bumper and grill. I sanded the body and used the acetone to clean it. For the bumper and grill i did a quick coat of black rustoleum and then hurculined that with no sanding. Still looks good today.
