MY BEASTS 1988 and 1992

Ok ok ok you been all buggin me to post my beasts..
here they are

the 1992 is full of cancer but i dont care

Ha you know what the funny part is both trucks i got were seized
the 1987 i got in the winter it was sitting on a farm for 8 years with cows!! HA

It was seized up solid so i dieseled the cylinders and let it sit every day going out with a ratchet and trying to crank it over inch by inch she finally unsiezed/ unfroze
took about 6 weeks then i got one full revolution on the crank...ha!!
So anyways i tryed it ran but real ruff.. i figured sticky rings rusty ect..
so i diesel ed it for a bit longer dropped the oil after that
it made a huge racket sounded like the front of the motor was tearing through
timing chain slop so i decide why not put one in it.....found one on ebay
fer 39 bucks for the kit... Decided to skimp out and not pull the head cause i didnt really want to see inside of it lol cause it would scare me lol
changed the timming chain without pulling the head the motor ran reall well!!
ONe other problem the FRAME WAS POOCHED!!!!!
so i found this 1988 body with the motor in the box ripped apart...
i traded my ice fishing hut for it...
The 1988 had the tranny and new tires!!! and some one before me bondo the hell out of it did not a bad job but sloppy oh well its bush beater...
anyways so i pulled the running 1987 22RE motor and swaped it in the 1988 body..it worked well s far 6 years later doesnt even burn oil!!
shes tired though maybe the Mass air flow isnt set right i dont really care it still runs thats all i care

now im werking on the 1992 with a cracked ,,,Best part about buying yotas with extra parts you just never know when they will come in handy,,,

TOTAL COST $200 plus a ice SHACK to toyota one that runs well and one in healing.,.

heres my beasts...
