Matt I know that came from sonoran steels site, But whats it refrencing too, I dont recall seeing a stud like that yesterday....

Is the ball joint held to the UCA with studs or bolts? That kind of looks like the stud came out of the ball joint.

scuba should know- the ball joint has studs pressed in it to bolt to the uca.

Ok So im done...
And those studs are what hold the Balljoint to the upper A arm...
Im dumb I know...

How many of you guys used OEM rims without any running of the tire against the upper control arm when BJ spacers were installed.

I'm using my 8 spoke factory alloys and the tires clear by about 3/4's of an inch.

I'm willing to bet that the factory ball-joints have the studs pressed into in; all replacement will just have a bolt that goes all the way through


I'm really hoping that after I install mine I wont need to go out and buy spacers; my wheels stick out farther than I'd like right now already, lol

What did you use to paint those? I'd rather have black rims and would prefer to just paint mine instead of buying new ones.

Do you have 225/75r15s or 31x10.5r15s? The side wall bulge would be in different places on those two tires.
