i have a 95 taco 3.0 with the same problem.drive it for a while and shut it off and let it set for about 15 -20 min and it wont crank till it cools off. it is definatly vapor locking because when it does it i can go under the hood and break the nut loose on the fuel rail and blead it till fuel starts squirting out tighten it up and it will start right up. it has plenty of spark at the plugs so i dont think it is the dist/ignitor has a new one on it anyway from the prev. owner. new plugs/wires,fuel filter, intake manifold gskts, valve cover gskts. i built a gauge to fit in the fuel rail so i could monitor the fuel system and when running it runs about 38-40 psi, fuel reg works when i test it with a vac pump. but when i shut it down when hot and let it set you can watch the fuel psi start to rise after about 15 min it will have about 55- 65 psi, open the bleeder and it will be vapor, the truck has no mods or add ons except the hair ive pulled out trying to figure out whats going on with it.

after exhausting all other options, i decided the the fuel pump had to be bad, even tho it was showing the proper pressure while running it was not moving enough fuel to keep the fuel rail cool. i ordered a higher volume walbro 255 pump from High Flow preformance. works like a champ now.
