Major oil leak/head gasket blown
ugh, so I think my passenger side head gasket blew at 185k :rocking:
I just broke up with my gf the other day then this happens haha (I've only but about 500 miles on it or so). Its been leaking quite a but for a while now and has also been running kinda weird but well enough for a dd. so I take it in to get looked at at the mech finds that after taking to intake manifold off the valley is filled with oil, submerged the ks, and was running out the back of the engine. I like the little touch of green anti-freeze color too..
Not what i was wanting to hear but now that they know it can get fixed.
Now that they have all that crap off they see this.. who does this schit?
totally unnecessary.
Since they are in there, what would be some other things to address?

Other things: new knock sensor pigtail, water pump, timing pulleys, new timing belt, crank and cam seals, new crank bolt, new timing belt tensioner, send injectors out for cleaning, replace old coolant hoses that are now exposed.
That bolt is nasty. If they would have carefully removed the flange washer portion of the bolt they could have likely prevented a lot of the damage to the head of the bolt.
