Lowering springs/coilover questions

I have searched and searched, but since this forum tends to the 4x4/offroad side, I'm having a difficult time trying to find out what sort of springs to use. (Searching the intrax website turns up nothing either. Why have lowering springs for camrys?)

1992 Toyota Pickup DLX Xtracab.

I got an LC Engineering catalog the other day and there's this sweet picture of a similar truck that is lowered, has an ungarnished grille, new headlights and clear corners, and nice rims. Sadly they provided no info about the truck itself, so I throw myself upon your experience.

I was also making an upgrade path for my truck. I have been planning on the following

New paint (gunmetal gray)
Rims (haven't decided what to get yet)
Lowered (need to know what kind of springs my truck will accept without whimpering) Also, is it possible to convert to struts instead of leaf springs?
New electric fuel pump (I am thinking that the old in-tank pump might be an issue with the acceleration problem I'm having in my other thread)
LCE EFI Pro stroker longblock (147hp @ 4300rpm)
LCE's test pipe+catback pro flow exhaust
LCE high boost turbo kit (includes headers)
FMIC intercooler+piping
K&N filtercharger kit (also inquiring about a new AFM, how exactly does it work when you replace the stock airbox?
Sr5 4 cylinder gauge cluster (if you have one for sale that is in good condition, please PM me!)
LCE fuel injection upgrade kit

Sorry to ramble on so long, but I dont' want to make multiple threads. I'll get some pics up soon, I also have some bodywork I need to have done on the left rear quarterpanel and bed/tailgate, but I think I can take care of that in town.

Well first off you have no coil springs anywhere on your truck...so theres no coilover or lowering springs without some major suspension mods. The front uses torsion bars and your rear is leaf sprung.

soooo I imagine you could take a leaf out of the rear and relax the torsion bars up front..

or take out two leaves in the back and put it on airbags except I dont know how low you can lower the front suspension without it riding like a manatee

Okay, forget the leaf to strut conversion, I just found a truck on cardomain with a drop right where I want mine to be.

So blocks are a viable option for this? Good to know...

Also, I was thinking about getting a Detroit locker or Truetrac. Which would be better for street/drag applications?

Bump...I need some answers and some feedback on my build plan

Fixed the idling problem though, still having acceleration problem. How exactly does one test fuel pressure, and what sort of electric pump should I get?
