I am doing research on tires and rims and wanted to get everyones input.
Truck will be used in mud and on pavement only so am looking for recommendation on tires. Also who makes decent rims with a toyota bolt pattern. I am in the process of installing a superlift and it calls for 3 3/4 back spacing so I want to get some nice rims. I am going to run 33's (although som tell me 35's fit without any problems... is that true?) Thinking of a larger diameter rim like an 18 or 20...
Ideas? Thoughts?

After a little research, I decided on TSL Super Swamper Radials. 33X12.5R15. The wheels are 'Monster Mod Rock Crawlers, 15X10 with 3.75" Backspacing. Mounted, Balanced, with Chrome Center Caps, valve stems, and Chrome Gorilla Locking Lugs. Around $900 IIRC.
For larger diameter wheels, the price will go up considerably.

Thanks Uncle Bob! How far past the fenders do your tires stick out? Will I need fender flairs? You running a 4 inch lift? What brand? Happy with it? Nice ride by the way!!!!!

The tires stick out an inch, maybe 2. I'd like to get some fender flares eventually, but am worried about ripping them off on the trail.
I got clearance the cheap way. I started with a 3" Body lift, added shackles in the back and Ball Joint Spacers in the front. I also tweaked the torsion bars up a little, to level it out. It rides fine. A little stiff, but totally acceptable IMO. It's softer than the Rough Country 4" Spring Lift I put on my Jeep, anyway.
People seem to frown on Body Lifts over an inch, but I personally have never had a problem with them, or have known of anybody personally that had issues either. Also, the light bar would have never fit without the Body Lift, unless I lost (or cut) my valance. Plus, I'm a poor father of two boys, with a small, small toy budget. I have to make due with what I've got.

I have 31 inch Bridgestone Dueler MTs....if you can find em I suggest going with them. By far the best tire I have ever bought. They are mounted to 15x10 Chevy Steel wheels. Not sure on the back spacing. But I have had the tires for about 6 years...5 on the current truck and a year in my other yota. I got approx 50,000 miles from them. I never took it easy on them I wheeled hard and drove all over the place with em. This year I finally had to replace them at the end of winter(and yes they worked very good in the snow too). And when I went to buy the same tire they have been discontginued. So after some research I went with the BF Goodrich MT KMs. No feed back on them yet. Havent put enuff miles on them to say so yet.

As for the 35's fitting without any problems I will have to say b.s. I have the PRO COMP Stage II 4" lift with 35's and I still have rubbing issue not bad but still have rubbing at full lock and if a little compressed on the suspension.
This is all after cutting about 2-3 " of the pinch welds near the roll of the wheel well and under body. If you put a small body lift 1-3" it should be no problem anymore or you may be able to crank it out through the t-bars not sure but I am going to go with about a 2" for a couple reason's mostly just to clear the super charger on the 3.4 swap I am getting ready to do.
