A little more sound

Well I had my old component setup from my last car, but the new 4Runner had no where to mount 5.25" speakers up front from factory, so I took the weekend and made these up.

They sound really nice, and look pretty decent I think awell. For anyone planning to make something like this, it's the wrapping with fabric that's the most difficult, tryin to make sure there are no wrinkles.

I like that, but I would want door pockets built in.

Did you make those or are they old kick panels and you put new upholstery on them? If you made them, what did you make them out of?

Looks good, but did you know/think about giving it to a trimmer that re-skins dashboards, and have him put a skin over that in a shade of grey to match your trim?

I know the shade is off, but that's all the fabric store had without ordering in fabric, and then i'd have to order a fair amount, which i wouldnt need, so I made do with what was available. I'm trying to find some vinyl spray bomb to colour match

Nice contours and great job getting the axis a bit higher. Heat guns and gloves are great for this kind of thing. At least with vinyl anyway.

They dont get in the way at all. I was going to make them fit in the kick panels, but found out I would be kicking them everytime I got in and put my feet in the foot wells, so this is where they went
