Left over very unusual bolt.... anyone know where I missed it from...
I've put the engine back together and have a bolt left over that is competely different than all the other bolts...
it is about 3 1/2 inches long and has a hex bolt style head...? I have no idea what it goes to... I remember having to use pliers to get it to come out because some else had stripped it... but I can't remember where and I think I replaced it with a standard bolt?

Yeah pics are nice. by Hex-head style do you mean you would use a wrench/socket to get it out, or an Hex key as in an Allen Wrench? If it is Allen wrench then I would say that is the bolt that goes from the Intake Manifold-thru the thermostat housing area-to the head. If it is a wrench/socket then perhaps it is the bottom mounting bolt of the Alt.
But a pic would be really nice.

the lower plenum is held on with like 30 of the little bastards... (ok its more like 10) but they are 2.5" long and have a star pattern torx type pattern in the top... is that what you mean?

This is the one PirateFins is talking about. easiest way to get it on it to take the intake off, unless you have a way to "snake" a allen key in there.
