LED Turn Signals

Anyone seen front LED turn signals for the early 90's vintage Toyota pickups? I have a bad socket and i'd like to replace the whole unit with an LED unit if I can find one...

Maybe if the lens was clear like glass then LED's would be brighter but if it is the orange stocker than it probably wont.

I was hoping to find a complete LED replacement unit, not just an LED bulb. I like the looks of the purpose built LED lights, they are much brighter than original if built properly. I suspect there isn't as big of a market for them on these trucks as there is for 1999 Honda Civics...

I don't think you'll find and LED replacement unit so easy, but you could always just pick up something like these:

and replace the bulbs they give you with LED bulbs. I think they'd look pretty sharp afterwards. That's what I plan on doing.

that's EXACTLY what I did, and it's worked out great so far

I can see my blinkers reflecting off the vehicles in front of me, so I feel that they're bright enough

I custom made my own..I'm going to be making a set for a guy on another board,I could possibly do another for you. PM me if your interested

here are mine that I made..

the LED signal is obviously on the top..they are very bright!

the video does not have the lens on, and honestly the diffused lens disrupts the light quite a bit being the led light pattern is narrow..BUT i am also working on making my own 100% clear lenses...you can also sand down the texture on the lenses as well until they are clear, but it is very time consuming
