1988 3.0. Can the kcock sensor be tested. without pulling plenum.

I'm working form memory, but I know the cable on my 92 exits the driver side between the head and intake. It plugs into the wiring harness in the middle of the injectors. So, if you can access those, you should be able to see the plug for the knock. You'll most likely have to take the intake hoses off to get to it.
