I've searched, dug through piles of pics..nothing...84-89 w/roof racks or light bars?

I've been trying to find pics of a 4runner like mine with a safari style rack installed, and ones with some lighting either up top, or elsewhere.

I'm just trying to get some ideas of what I want to do, and wanted to see some other examples, but I've come up pretty empty.

I saw this gray 4runner with a nice black rack, then a red 4runner with a soft top that had a light bar...that's about it.

Anyone help me out?

my buddy has a 86 runner on 36s with a safari basket uptop.. It has 4 square lights mounted on the front of it. I like it a lot!! I would love to fab a safari basket for the top of my pickup, but gas mileage is an issue

Yep...that'd be you...lol.

I ended up buying a roof rack and pro runner front bumper bar for my stuff off of Summit Racing. The rack is 60L x 45w x 5H....should be nice hopefully!

I want my stuff to look cool for winter...haha. Then it'll be time for paint in spring.

I've just had my truck the same for like a year, and with my business I just don't have time to fab what I want for it. I always preferrably build myself exactly what I want, but I just have too many customer cars to deal with to give my truck much attention. I saw the stuff on summit and figured..why not. It's not much money so if I don't like it I'll just sell it.

You ever use those Hella's? Just pull the covers here and there....seems like a pain.

I mounted a Loadwarrior with extension on mine. Drilled through the top an bolted it because I didn't like how most of them sat up off of the top so far:

here was mine before the accident the guy I bought it from bolted it on the hard top it was not the nicest job but it worked and looking at where the hard top hit the ground and the damage to the roof rack I think it took a good part of the impact. and reduced the body damage.

In comes the gray one....., but hey a second grayish one I didn't find.

My stuff should be arriving by UPS here today, so maybe I'll get it on this weekend. I'll post pics when I get that on there.
