Installing OME springs-- need brake line?

I just bought a set of OME 901's from trdparts4u.com. I am getting some longer shocks to go with the springs.

Do I need the longer brake line? if so, where do I get just the brake line? Also, what about the abs line bracket that is mentioned in the downey write up's?

Can I go ahead with the install and get these items later, or am i gonna rip the old brake line if I do not get the longer one?

Thanks guys!

My lines had plenty of extra play in them, even after I put my 901 springs in. Longer lines are something you could do eventually (especially if you do lots of wheeling), but not 100% needed yet.

Thanks!

Most of my driving is on road, so sound like i'll be fine. I'll be sure to post before and after pics.

Measure your brake line, the acutal rubber portion, my '91 had a 9 inch long rear line and let me tell you, it was a TIGHT fit. To drop the axle far enough to get the old springs out (even with strut compressors) I had to unscrew most of the hard line mounting tabs from the axle housing, and even then (with the brake line stretched out) I didn't feel comfortable going any further.

I read somewhere that the "stock" length was 11" and at 11" I'd have been fine, but with the 9" lines, I decided to go get some ProComp lines for ~$80.

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f120/toyota-faq-66255/ has some pretty good info on the brake line options.

just my experience.

EDIT: and yeah, everyone told me I'd be fine without replacing the brake lines

If you do need a longer brake line and want to save a little money, you can buy another stock brake line and add it to your original.
