That's definitely a sweet looking rig man... Can you tell me where you got your grill guard? I like it!

Thanks. Someone at work was throwing it out. I found it next to the dumpster. I don't even know what vehicle it used to fit. I just made it work with the winch plate I made.

Man, just wanted to give you props on your truck too!! It looks really nice. I think I'm going to copy it haha.. naw jk, but I'm at the stage right now, where I'm trying to see which route I go on my stock '89 Runner and I'd like it to look like yours. You said you also had a BL? I was thinking of just doing BJ spacers, & rear add a leafs.

Thanks for the Props! I do have a BL, it's a 1" lift. Very easy to do, because you don't have to change anything ie. trans linkage(manual), brake lines.... It also gave me more to run 32x11.50 MT's.

Sweet. I hadn't even thought of that. Everything I've read about 2"+ BLs makes me cringe and I don't want to spend that much for a SL. How did you make your "homemade" BL? Please share

I used some 1" thick Aluminum and made disc or donuts using a 1-5/8" hole saw and longer bolts. It only took me a hour and a half by myself to lift the truck.

I love the title.LOL. I'm sorry but I don't have any pics of the pucks them self. But if you look at this pic of my BJS the hole in the center is where one of the pucks came from.

I know!! Nice man. Well I might have to buy mine, but I've seen them for cheap. There was a 2" body lift from Perf. accessories for $60. I will have to search for a 1".. or maybe do the BJ spacers & add a leafs 1st, then see how it looks.. Treknwil, what would you recommend? You did the BL 1st didn't you? It's cheaper. I know that!

how big a plate did you need to cut all the pucks? local metal shop wants $110 for a 12"x12"x1" thick plate of 6061.

Yes I did the BL first. It my be possible to cut the 2" BL down to a 1" lift depending on what they're made of ? BJ spacers aren't that much here's a link-http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...ntSpacer.shtml and Add a Leafs, I think I paid like $50 something for mine. Hope this helps!

That may be enough for all 10 pucks and also make 2 BJ spacers.

I have BJ spacers already, but I like the idea of making aluminum body lift pucks

Are you still running stock rubber body mount bushings with the lift? How are they holding up?
