I just did compression on my 22re , What do you guys think

I just did a compression reading on my 22re with the intake off and the exhaust off, and was getting 195psi across all 4? Is this good? I know the standard is around 175? And I use 24volts to turn over the engine? I have heard someone people saying 200PSI is too much, but I would not know why, That would just tell me that it is a really strong engine? Thanks!

i did a quick google search and came up with this

155-170psi

Factory Specs= 142 Minimum, 14psi variation between cylinders.

so your service limit is 140psi. as long as all the cylinders are above 140 and with in 14psi of eachother, i wouldnt worry about it

As long as they are fairly even across the board, you're good. The higher reading could be caused by carbon build up. Or the head and or deck have been shaved from a rebuild.
