High beams (brights) won't stay on

Hi, I just bought my truck 2 days ago and I have noticed that my high beams (brights) won't stay on in my 1994 Toyota Pickup 4x4. I pull the arm forward that turns them on and then stay on as long as i hold the arm forward but then i let go they turn off. It acts like it is not clicking them on or something? Any sugguestions on what i can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

try pushing the arm away from you... toward the windshield.

ya the forward is for a high beam flash, pushing the lever away turns them on (back towards you to turn them off)

Pulling it towards you just flashes the high beams, for when those idiots are hogging the left lane.

pull the arm back (towards engine) not forward and it will stay back leaving the highs on. Welcome to yotatech!

It is inside the steering column. Take the plastic cover off and you can access it from there.
