help size bolts to use on a rotor cap on 1988 toyota v6

Can anyone tell me what size bolts to use on a rotor cap . After engine rebuild on 1988 toyota v6 , the bolts hold down rotor cap were misplaced.

And Google says https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...r-bolt-222758/

M8X1.25 is a good starting place. Toyota makes life easy by using same part on multiple engines/vehicles plus makes logistics of parts easier for manufacturer.

He probably means the two small machine screws that hold the distributor cap to the distributor body (but given the vocabulary issues, a picture could clear that up). Probably M4 or M3, but you'd need to buy one of each and try them.
