Help needed identifying the power steering pump & reservoir in my 93 4runner
I am looking for help in making an id of my current PS pump. It doesn't match any replacement part i can find or found in the FSM. It is marked a remanufactured part and must not have been a stock replacement.
Does anyone recognize the pump assembly on the right? The left is the stock replacement that appears in FSM. The pump I have does not use the round reservoir. I need to find the right part or I will have to track down a reservoir and possible the air control valve.
this is a shot from the side,
any help or advice is greatly appreciated

They look the same to me.
The pump part sometimes you just have to do what you need to getting it back on the road.
Who knows why it was done.
I find all sorts of strange things done to there vehicles
can you get the reservoir off with out breaking it
Me I would just find the new parts
If those are bad if you can`t get them aftermarket then your dealer.
Then you could see if your can buy a new complete pump for alot more money.

They looked the same to me when on the car, but the reservoir is not going to attach to the new pump. I hopefully found the correct reservoir at a junk yard for $25. I just realized the pulley could be different too. I'll have to check that it will work
