HELP: I took off my plenum and now she runs like crap
I took off my plenum to change the orings on my injectors, they were leaking gas. I put everything back together and she runs like crap now. My stupid mistake was not to take pics of the vacuum hoses. Now I’m not sure where the hoses go. The truck runs but she has no power and sounds like it's missing a spark plug. I can hear the vacuum leak but I can find it. Does anyone have any pics of the passenger side of the plenum? Has anyone done this before, I need some help.

This is the best photo I could find in my archives (I know it aint great). I can take a better one tomorrow. Note: I had a modified pcv system, and I marked the re-routed pcv hose to help ease any confusion.

I went out this morning and check everything and I had everything in its place. I thought I had placed something in the wrong spot. It still runs the same; it sounds like it has an exhaust leak come from the driver’s side and its stumbling and feels weak. I’m thinking maybe one of the injectors under the plenum is unplugged or maybe the gasket I just in put is on the wrong. The pvc hoses was making a little noise but I moved it around and it stopped, but the truck still ran the same. Any ideas any one???

If you look under the metal lines to the right of the egr modulator, you will find a hidden vacuum line. I left it unplugged when I did my injector swap.

hope you learned your lesson here. when working on something that you don't know like the back of your hand, ALWAYS tag(or better yet, take digital pics) your vacuum lines!

I did learn my lesson, always take pics. I checked out the metal lines next to egr and they look good, unless I’m looking at the wrong line. Do you have a pic of what you’re talking about? I took off my plenum and one of the injectors was unplugged. I plugged it up and put the plenum back on. When I took of my plenum I tried to take out the pvc but it will not come out. It doesn't sit firm in the hole it just sits with a lot of play unless you pull up on it. Is there a trick to get the pcv out? after I put the plenum on it does run better but it sounds like its missing. I drove it and from 1000 rpm till 2500 she will miss after that she seems to run good. Here are few pics.

Not sure if this will help, but i was wondering if my PCV was working ok. One easy way to tell is to start up the truck and unscrew the oil filler cap on the driver side valve cover. First your idle should drop and if you put your hand over the hole you should feel a vacumm.
So mabye try that and if you can;t feel the vacumn maybe the PCV isn't functioning right or causing a vacumn leak. Hope it helps. If you need any other pics I can take some of my V6.

i try the oil cap idea and the idel fell and i could feel the vacume pulling on the oil cap. I still think it's the pcv casue it does seal very well but it will not come out. other than that I have no idea.

If you are getting vacuum at the oil fill hole while the engine is running, the PCV is doing its job. Might ask if there is another V6-er on the board close to you , so you could get up close and look. It's really tight in there and very hard to follow all the lines.
