Help guys! 1991 pickup 22re not running right.

Okay guys heres the spill. Ive owned several toyota pickups with the 22re's all of them. Recently i just picked up a 1991 2wd 5 speed 22re. It has been kept in excellent condition and almost everything was replaced with a freshly rebuilt engine. Well i drove it for 3 or 4 days and it ran like a top, perfect with no problems except for a little excessive valve noise. Just to mention that the altitude was about 2000 ft lower where i bought the truck. Okay well i got in it to start it after it had sat for a day and it wouldn't start. It turns over good but won't start, so i thought something might be wrong inside the starter so took it off and took it apart and checked everything, its working still but its really wore out, i noticed when i took it off it had several marks on the side where it had been messed with before. So i put it back on and cranked on it and still wouldn't start gave it a little fuel (pedal) and it cranked up but was running rough. Took the valve cover off valves were out pretty bad, adjusted them, and now it cranks right up really easy but runs really rough. Got fire on all plugs and all injectors are popping off and aren't leaking. #1 spark plug wire can be taken off without any change in idle, but all the rest make a change in idle, somethings not right there. Truck sits over night again and now its doing the same thing not starting again. So im gonna try a different starter but it still runs really rough. i need your help guys thanks in advance:wrench:
