I'm not quite sure what to do about this, i need a slimmer brake caliper... Anybody know of some viable options?

This kit was ran before so it had to of worked for some one.

Let's start with what brakes are on there now. They look like they're 2 piston by the angle of your pics, so the stock 2wd calipers?

Stock 2wd single piston calipers on a modified 2wd spindle but the caliper ears are in favtory location. I might have to cut the ears amd mount them further up. Or make a bracket to extend caliper out. Somebody ran this kit before so I know domethimg had to of worked. Just not sure what.

dont know if it will work or not but maybe try doing the 4x4 brake swap like this http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/sus...onversion-252/
only problem i see with it might be wheel to caliper clearance if you are running a 15'' wheel.

edit: saw your update on DR. do the stock brakes fit now?

No, i still need to redo the whole brakes. I'm going to build a bracket to extend them out, use a 12" rotor and find a caliper to work. Which rotor and caliper is the question. My hubs are 3.5" Wide id so i'll likely have to turn out any rotor hub i find. the backspacing is what concerns me.
