how did u fix it bud? did u just put a rubber piece in there and clamp it on ??? lemme know, thanks i appreciate it... I should be pissed, but this truck is so easy to work on its not even funny lol. im used to 1000hp drag car motors where every little change u make effects something else, so this is all very simplistic, its fun haha

The PO had that bend piece break off from the pump unit itself...so he JB welded a hard line in there and hooked it up to a rubber hose. Worked good cause there was no bed on the truck. As soon as i put a bed on it, it broke the JB welded peice because it was too high. I cheated and have a couple junk toys and already had another tank out, and i just swapped em. If you can fit a rubber line in there, that should work.

AFM. I had the same problem with my '88 when I first bought it. The plug on the AFM was loose and dirty. check around there.

Make sure the lil flapper thingy moves real easy like and not sticking anywhere. I think once you get the fuel line fixed you'll be good to go.

sorry if this is repetitive, i haven't read the whole thread, but:

TPS, AFM, O2 Sensor, Vacuum Leak, Fuel Pressure, Timing, and check your diagnostic codes.
