Heater blower motor....
Sorry to ask a noob question, but I searched and couldnt find what I was looking for so..... on the 91 p/u I recently acquired, the heater fan has 2 speeds....off, and cat 5 hurricane. It also had no adjustment for the vent/heat, but that has been fixed. I am wondering....Is this caused by the relay behind the glovebox? It does click when I turn the fan on low...just no fan, so I'm not sure if I need the relay, or the motor itself....or maybe some resistors. I could live with it like it is if need be...but I'd like to have it working....I just got this rig inspected , which was a surprise to me... so now I'd really like to get everything working. Thanks.

You need the a new blower resistor, I just replaced mine yesterday. It should be down by the blower motor on the passenger side on the firewall, should be held in with one screw and have a connector going to it, disconnect it and take out the screw out and go to toyota and get a new one, mine was like $13 and put the new one in and the problem is fixed!

not sure if it's the same on your 91, but on my 86, the resistor is pretty easy to access. I did way more work than I needed to just trying to find the stupid little thing. You don't need to remove anything from the dash or glove box to get to the resistor! It's located right in front of where your passenger's right foot would be. It should come out with just one little screw. A new resistor at the dealership cost me like $14. PM me if you need a picture
