Did the tune up this morning (more like I watched and learned while my friend did most of the work) and it went off without a hitch. The #5 plug was a piece of cake with the swivel socket. The truck accelerates much smoother and overall runs a lot better. Very happy with the results!

A couple of questions though... we had planned on replacing the PCV valve, but it seems that you have to remove the manifold in order to do so. Is that correct? We weren't going to mess with that.
And secondly... what tools do you guys use to replace the fuel filter? We couldn't get it done because there wasn't enough room to turn the wrench to loosen the side towards the front of the truck. The oil cooler for the transfer case (I think that's what my friend said) was in the way. I guess I need to get an angled wrench or a stubby one?

On my 93 Runner I use a crows foot flare nut 14 mm which sits on the bolt and you use a socket wrench with a flex extension to connect to it from the front rail area. I just did this a week ago, and it took about 1.5 hours, wrenching a little at a time, once I broke it loose.
