good donor for v8/solid axle swap for 93 pickup

So I know this has been asked a million times, but I can't really find what I was hoping to... So I really wanna swap in a v8 and get a solid axle on the front, plus other little things.. I've really debated about the 3.4 swap, but Im lucky to find just a 3.4 engine for $1000.. for the same money I could buy a whole running 3/4 ton truck.. personally I'd prefer a v8.. also really thought about the 1uvfe.. but I was curious if there's a good donor truck out there that I could use most of the parts, like an older Chevy that I could hopefully use the engine, tranny maybe t case and axles? If I wanted bigger axles under me.. I've done engine swaps before, but always with the same engine, never swapped a different engine.. I would really like the bigger engine and axles, could push my 35's better plus more towing power and with bigger axles, bigger brakes for better stopping.. I have an Sr5 v6 right now.. just wanna know if there's any good donor trucks like that, I can get older bronco's and blazers for a couple hundred bucks around here, several Chevy 3/4 under a $1000 that I could drive home.. though I don't know what kind of mpg I'd get from an older 4-speed, or how it'd do on the high way.. I get 10-12 now with my 35's..

I should also say I have a 3 or 4 inch body lift, can't remember which, but that should give me more wiggle room.. also I can weld a bit, but engine mounts are one thing I'd prefer not to fabricate myself, and I don't wanna mount this directly to the frame

So pretty much you want to put a Toyota Body on a 3/4 ton running gear??

I would say learn to weld and fabricate and go from there till you feel comfortable building your own motor mounts.

I think it would be an interesting project over coming all the challenges.

Haha ya pretty much, I don't want an extreme competetive rock crawler, but, I only live a few hours from Moab and would like to be able to do some technical stuff.. I figure I could do a bunch of it all at once.. mainly I'd prefer just to do a v8 swap and get that running, even if I only have it running in 2wd.. to me that's the biggest hump.. guess I should get learning on how to fabricate mounts, I've never even bothered learning how to do that.. I'm half way debating about selling my Sr5 model and getting a cheaper vase model that I don't feel as bad tearing up, or why not just get a bigger truck that already has all that.. oh desicions..

Check these guys out. They claim a chevy 350 drops in and bolts up to a 4x4 pickup. Not sure about the 4runners and other things.
Solid axle swap would be good from an earlier toyota. The toyota axles have more breaking strength than dana 30's and 35's out of jeeps and whatever is in 4wd chevy half tons.
