that would be a great truck...I like it but don't think it would pass Oregon DEQ (@ least in PDX) and with my 81 trekker my wife would say it would have to go:spank:

I saw that one.. Pretty sweet rig! It was originally priced @ $7500.

If I had any money I'd be making an offer on that thing. $5500 just for the parts is cheap, much less assembled and running!

Ya, I saw it back then too. Poor guy, I hope he sells it. He needs to list it on ebay.

Just out of curiousity I called the guy, Ross, to chat with him about it. Super nice guy, sounds like he did a great job on the build up as well. This sounds like an excellent rig that could be picked up for WAY below what it would cost to build. He said he even averages 18mpg and gets up to 20 on highway trips.

Man I wish I had the cash!!

Build up the axles and you are DONE.
