You can remove the carpet and inspection plate on the inside of the tailgate and disconnect the motor plug. Then, use jumper wires from a battery to lower the window.

You can also remove the motor itself and the window will fall to the bottom of its travel, but removal of the motor is a pain, as I recall.

Running the window down with jumper wires is your best bet.

It might be possible to jumper the motor at the window relay box in the left rear quarter panel, but you'd have to consult the electrical schematics for your truck to figure out what to do.

doesn't need an engine in the vehicle to work, just a connected battery. turn the ignition switch to "on", and use the console switch. or use the tailgate key switch, leaving the ignition switch "off".

the window can be lowered without any power, and it does involve pulling the interior tailgate panel and removing the window motor/gears assembly.
