gearing / 3rd replacement question and tire size help

The rear in my truck is SHOT, it sounds terrible, but with 182,000 miles that's OK. I'm past due for a new set of tires but was thinking that since my rear end is shot, "its a stock 2 pinion 4.10 unit" that now would be the time to re-gear and do it right. My truck is a 3.0 auto, which even with my worn our 30" tires is a dog, if I were to buy a used set of 4.88 4rds, how many rpms would I be running at say 70mph with 31x10.50 tires? I tow a motorcycle trailer occasionally and live in a rather hilly area, I find myself holding the gas pedal to the floor now on the highway to maintain 60 to 65 pulling some hills without it popping out of OD and revving like crazy so I know if I go to a 31x10.50 now its going to be even worse... Would the 4.56 gears with the 31" tires be basically the same as what I have now or would it have a little more "pep" on the highway? OR since my front diff is like new would it make more sense to just buy a used 4.10 rear and pop it in and be done with it??? Really how much difference do 31" tires make with a 4.10 rear?? I thought about running a 33x9.50 but really don't need to go that big, Ive never had any problems with my 30" tires as far as getting stuck or hanging up, I do want to go a little bigger this time around since now I have the BJ spacers and the Downey 2" springs in the rear! Any input would be great or if anyone can point me in the right direction... Thanks again, Matt

Go with 4.88s or 5.29's

4.88's and 31" tires would put you close to stock, perhaps a little better. 5.29's would really help the autotragic, especially if you're towing/hauling.

4.88 diffs can be had for under $300 from any 92-95 pickup/4runner with a 3vze,auto and 31" tires from the factory.
