Fuel Line Woes
When I dropped my tank to replace the pump, I found that the pump-to-filter fuel line right above the tank was rusted BADLY (rusted through); I got online and researched this part, and ordered what I believed to be the correct line.
After receiving the part today, I realize I got the line for the filter to the engine bay, rather than the line behind the filter. I have been searching online for a couple hours now looking for: a) the correct line b) a link to a supplier carrying the correct line or c) something even remotely relating to my issue.
I have not found ANYTHING regarding the rear fuel line. Anybody have a link or a solution?

I would go to pick and pull and find it.
I don't know where you are located or what the hopes are of finding a non rusted line in your area. come out to the CA pick and pulls theres about 20380215411934870195871981089734 2nd gen runners im guessing because of the cash for clunkers program that was a while back and just about all of them have no rust lol.

Actually I had gone to a couple locally and in Lincoln, Ne, and the only 3 I found that still had the line also had the same issue.
Might have to get some AN fitting and just go with flexible line.

Just go to your local dealer, or call up Champion Toyota in Gulf Freeway, TX and talk to Jeff in the parts dept. They've got great prices, and Jeff knows his stuff.
I recently replaced the huge steel fuel line from tank to filter on my '94 Pickup. It was about $40 from my local dealer with my discount.

Find a dealer. I just bought all the fuel lines for my 1989 pickup. Its not worth trying to find them used. Make sure you use a line wrench or you will end up replacing more parts.

I am in the same boat I BET. Had my frame welded, they dropped tank, put back up and, no start. Said it was fuel pump. I got a fuel pump today, and will drop it off to shop Mon morn. I am anticipating them to say its now a rusted line, dang first time in 22 years I have not had my truck overnight, hate that. I will price a fuel line monday just in case.

I found the fuel line at my local Toyota dealer, part number is 7725235250, cost a little more than 35 bones. I also got my hands on some stainless 5/16" line, and have access to a bender and flare tool. I am going to cut the ends off the old factory line and try and bend myself up some line. I ordered the Toyota line 'just in case'

The pump bracket is pricey but everything else is not to bad. These kind of parts are best left to buying new if you think you will have your truck for any length of time. Any money saved buying used will not be worth it as a lot of this install is a pain in the ass.

according to my receipt the bracket was 125.00 / gasket 5.00. I paid less because the whole thing was getting ridiculos in cost. I went in for as simple frame weld.
