Fuel injector’s o rings

Fuel injector’s o rings
I have a 1990 4runner v6, and it has always had a gas smell coming from the engine compartment. I changed the charcoal canister and did help a little but now the smell is getting bad. I was looking at the engine today and I noticed that two fuel injectors, that I could see, looked wet. So now I’m thinking that the orings are bad, on no less than two injectors, but they may be all bad I can not see all of them cause the intake is in the way. Has anyone changed the orings on the injectors or does anyone know of a write-up out there somewhere. I did a search but could not find anything. I went to ABC auto and ordered the orings I think I will also need the intake gasket. Will I need anything else?

You will need a plenum gasket (not intake), there is a big difference. When removing fuel lines, be careful not to lose the little metal washers that act as gaskets. As for the new o-rings, I believe you are supposed to coat them with gas before installing - to ensure a proper seal.
