front sway bar
just wondering how many of you guys dont run a front sway bar and if there was noticeable difference in performance. I dont run a rear one, i was thinking about doing away with the front, how is it on 4runners and driving everday, i mean obviously were not cornering in these trucks and driving real fast, on past other trucks(non toyota's) i didnt run sways and didnt notice a driveability differance, just wondering what some of you think

I dont know how u guys can drive on the road without swaybars. when i first got my runner the bushings were shot on the sway bar and it scared the crap outta me on the highway when going around curves. IMHO if its your daily driver and ya wanna get better articulation off-road buy or make your own disconnects.

I took my swaybar, my shocks, and my springs off. It rides like junk, but I get GREAT articulation! :hillbill:
Ok, for future readers of this thread, I haven't had a swaybar in over a year. I have found no reason to replace it, even having to do a high speed evasive maneuver. It's generally user preference. It's not hard to disconnect it, see if you like it and then go from there... Not that big of a deal. |
