Front end noise...help, thanks

Hey everyone,

So i know it is difficult explaining noises online, but i am going to do the best i can...

For the past 2 days, my front driver side seems to be making a consistant high pitched buzz/squeal. I know it is not my spindle bushings becuase my hubs are not engaged in the "locked" position. When the noise first started, it would only come about when doing right turns. Now, it is at the point as to where it stays with me untill I do a hard left.
My spindle bushings were on the verge of going, but i havent needed to lock the 4wd in for a while, so i figured this was not a bothersome issue.
It does not seem to be any engine components becuase i was reving the engine and there was nothing. Nor was it my power steering becuase when i turn sitting still, nothing either. It only happens when i am moving.
Again, it is a high pitched consistant squeal/buzz coming from the driver side front. Thanks for all your help. Any information on what to look for would be great. Thanks!
-Mike

Well the bearing are turning no matter what position your hubs are in. The only thing that doesn't spin is the CV, which doesnt carry any load.

I would quess that you need to pack your wheel bearings. Probally only started in a turn since the force changed a little. Now they are getting dry. I beleive Toyota reccommends packing them every 12K, mabye its 24k?? I try to do it every 12-18 months.

Yes, you pull them out, and the simple way is to put a ball of grease in your hand and beat the bearing into your hand, like packing a can of chew. Do this until grease is in and around the entire bearing, and then some. This is also a good time to get a hub rebuild kit and go thru everything. Not sure about factory hubs but Warn makes a kit just for that.

Packing bearings is like feeding babies. Keep pushing it in until it comes out the other end.
