Fixin a couple things... steering noise/shake, cruise, and gas pedal
Picked up a new 94 Xtra cab, 3.0, 4x4, 5 speed today.
Got a good deal but it needs a little attention.
I could have made 3 different threads but search didn't reveal much, and I didn't feel like 3 threads.
1. Steering wheel gets a shake and a bad squeak when turning, but only sometimes. Almost seems worse when engine is cold/cool. Seems less a problem after driving a while, but could be my imagination. Just a belt maybe? Would low power steering fluid cause this?
2. Cruise light comes on and off via the button, but "set" doesn't work. Think it's the whole relay or just a loose wire somewhere perhaps? Something else?
3. The gas pedal seems stiff, like it requires a little more muscle than normal to press it down. I still drove it an hour home fine, but it was consistently noticeable. Someone I was talking to mentioned de-gunking something near the fuel injectors, but I don't think he was actually talking about the injectors themselves, and I'm not sure what he was talking about.
Any advice, suggestions, or pointing me to write ups would be awesome.
Thanks all.

1. Check your idler arm for wear, there is a write up in the tech section on how to rebuid it. Also check the wheel bearings and ball joints for wear.
Look at your steering stops, they will rust up and cause bad noises when at full lock. Slap some grease on them. Check your Belt, make sure its tight. Don't use ANYTHING but ATF dextron lll in the ps pump.
2... sorry, can't help
3. Look under the dash at the pivot point. You might be able to lube it or de-gunk it.

Well the belt for the Power Steering is definitely loose...
I have no idea how to tension it up a bit, or how to replace it.
Could it be as simple as tightening something down?
Any write ups for belt changes? I did do a search btw. Found some things about getting pulleys off but Idk if I'm to that point yet.
