first time O/R in the yota
so went offroading yesterday with a couple of friends- cherokee 3in lift 31s, isuzu rodeo (lol)
went out to a spot where i used to take my brothers cherokee, near a spot i broke his tc chain, truck did pretty good but def saw the lack of power,
where the jeep could motor through spots, i had to put it in 4hi to pull me through it, and where his truck had to be in 4hi, i usually had to go in 4lo has a fail-safe, otherwise i had a good chance of my rpms dropping and stalling (auto vs 5spd)
conditions werent too muddy, but hill climbs def got steeper since last year- prob why i needed 4lo/ had to be at 3000rpm on the approach to the hill
ill post some pics when my friend sends em tonight- overall good day out
have some pics of the other cars if anyone wants em- jeep lost a fender flare

ya the guy before me put it on- it could be custom made he did built a custom bumper for the rear... i can take some up close pics if anyone wants- to me it seems like aluminum angle iron with 3/16" thick aluminum sheet metal going up to the sheet metal where the 4 holes are drilled into it- overall a simple but effective design

alright, i know a guy that can build the skid plate for whoever wants one, hes a master metal fabricator and is willing to make them for $150 plus shipping, it would be made out of aluminum diamond plate and some drilling would be required for bolt holes- shoot me an email to discuss further (he'd like a photo of your truck)- greatskiiiier@yahoo.com
materials and dimensions could be changed upon request and price will be adjusted accordingly
