finally took some pics

here are a few pics of the truck i purchased and brought back to life. It had been sitting for a few years due to a bad timing chain. So i got the truck for $500. I haven't done anything to the trucks appearance so this is exactly how it looked when i bought it.(but all of that is gonna change soon:D) I did however... go ahead and pull the head for resurfacing and a valve job, replaced all timing components, oil pump, and some other goodies and its running like a champ! this is my first toyota and i love it! it needs alot of little stuff but i am really happy with the purchase! let me know what you guys think!

Very sweet. What year is it?(Obviously an '89,'90,'91 or '92) What are your plans for it?

byler900f 03-07-2009 06:20 PM

Thanks! it a 91. I wanna try to just make a truck that i can pretty much do whatever with! whether its playing in the mud or riding trails! but i guess my main goal is gonna be to make it unstopable! ha ha!

i guess the first thing on the to do list is gonna be getting rid of those damn white wheels... i think i am just gonna paint them black for now.... until i have the money for some new wheels and tires.

Keep the white wheels, the're cool I think! Get rid of that paint scheme first. Engine looks real clean. Nice!

A little cleaning, and it will look awesome (on the inside...dont know about that orange graphic...even though I have a pink one on mine!! :hillbill: )

I had that same rear bumper when I bought mine!! Its pretty tough, had a guy rear end me and just bent it, while he had $2500 worth of damage!!

What are your plans for it?
