Extra set of hands for t-case setup?

Anyone in So Cal want to help me install my tg 4.7 gears in my t-case? I've been following these intructions http://trail-gear.com/pdf/470kit.pdf and am currently at Step 40.

I still have to shave down the case and then install the new gears. I'm not feeling too confident about the grinding part, so if someone with experience wants to help me out, that'd be super appreciated!! I'll pay for food, drink, and your gas to get out here. :bigok:

Follow the instructions and you will be fine. Lay everything out in order on a big table or on the floor and label stuff if you are going to be doing the work over an extended period of time (you will forget what goes where).

While you have everything apart clean the cases up real good. Makes it nice to install a clean, grease and dirt free set of cases.

I'm going to continue working on it tonight once I get back home from work. I have a couple questions though for those of you who have done this before.

Is step # 41 the only step that needs a press? I'm referring to these instructions from the Trail Gear site http://trail-gear.com/pdf/470kit.pdf

What's the best tool to grind the housing? I have a dremel, but it's taking forever. Is there a certain bit that gets through aluminum rather quickly. The instructions say to use a grinder, but it seems like it'd be hard to use a grinder in such a small space.
