engine will not continue to run after HG and fuel injector gaskets replaced

Hey there.
I did a HG replacement for an oil leak then went to start and had a fuel injector leak so replaced all fuel injector gaskets.
Went to start and idle is very slow and rough then stalls. No backfires.
I put crank at TDC and rotor is pointing to #1.
Starting with distributor, if it was off a tooth how much rotor movement is there?
All cylinders seem to be firing.
One of my only concerns is the 2 bolt connection where the fire wall side of plenum attaches to the pipe. Sorry do not know name. If there is not full air flow to that will that cause issue?
All vacuum hoses are connected also.
Not sure what else to check. About ready to have it towed to a mechanic if I cannot figure out.
Thanks

Turn your dizzy to try to get it to idle... if you run out of adjustment, then move it a tooth...

Wanted to confirm something before doing that. on the 22RE is TDC of the crank 5 and not 0?
I am basing my distributor being correct on the 0.

Yes it's zero...

This video shows how to install the distributor. Do it that way, and you will be spot on.

Bingo! Was off by a tooth. Thank you for the dist help!
Quick question, my front upper exhaust manifold stud is stripped. I put it in just tightening enough to stay in until I get a new stud bolt.
With that one bolt being loose would I hear that leak in the form of a tick? I know its not the valves, they are adjusted already.
Thanks again for the dist help!

Yes leaking at exhaust manifold or headers can make a ticking sound.
