Droopy Doors? Easy Fix! On a Budget!
1 Attachment(s)
My driver’s door was sagging and wouldn’t latch correctly when I bought my 89 4Runner.
My solution has proved to be cheap, easy, and long lasting! :bounce: I simply loosened the lower door bolts enough to slide a socket behind the bottom hinge to act as a shim. I lost the first one due to it not being big enough to be wedged in after I tightened the bolts back up. I think mine ended up being a 3/8” or maybe 7/16” socket. Yours may very depending on how loose your hinge is. The socket in the picture has been in my door for almost 4 years now with no more problems out of it!:rockin: |
hey that's pretty kool, but it only costs 35 bucks 2 replace a hinge ,doesnt seem like your on a budget with lce header and all those other mods 2 your truck ?
