Any 22rte CT 26 guys see any advanatge in turbo lag by doing the divorced wastegate?
Got the header wrapped...

Externally gated turbos are just so much easier to control. You aren't limited by the turbo housing size to get that pressure released.

I was surprised at how tiny the header is... i have big hands( my kids callem my mitts) I laughed when i saw the box and was like the header can't be in that little box

I'm putting on the internal gate CT26... my question is will divorcing the exhaust and wastegate improve turbo lag?

Well, I got to talk to an engineer at driftmotion.com ( he was awesome) he said the divorce would not help, but in fact would probably hinder performance in MY application...

I'll take a few more pics and report on the progress... and how it changed things when I'm finished...
the header is actually pretty nice... good welds, heavy pipe and 1/2" plate where it bolts to the head... better than i expected...
i did have to enlarge the holes to make it fit but wasn't bad...
the water lines, oil feed, and oil return line bolted right up(plug& play)
the other things will require some customization.... TURBO to AFM, Intake to Turbo, turbo/ wastegate to exhaust collector... I'm going with 2 1/2" .
