Custom temp sensor/gauge location on 3vze

Any good ideas around for this? Some threads around here mentioning how the stock temp gauge is smack in the middle for a high temp range made me think it would be a good idea to have a more accurate reading. And since my engine is out of the car and completely disassemled right now I have a golden opportunity to do something about this.

Mt goat? Anyone else?

Here's my EGT and water temp gauges mounted in a Perrin gauge pod.

The only thing is the gauges hide a few of the idiot lights. The AT oil temp light is hidden but since one of my gauges is a AT oil temp, no biggie there. Lucky the check eng light is still visible and most of the other lights that are obstucted are minor like the seatbelt light and parking brake light.

Here's a night shot:

I found a good spot for the A/F ratio gauge but I had to relocate the emergency flasher switch.

Some of the other gauges I just stuck into the glove box, AT oil temp, engine oil temp, and boost gauge. They are just sitting in a 3 gauge benzel made for installing under the radio:

BTW, I'm using an Isspro temp oil temp gauge for coolant temp, engine oil temp and AT oil temp. Mainly because they have such a good deal on that particular gauge, but also because it's an electric, full sweep, the right temp range and matches the factory gauges(I have the optional green bulb covers on them and it matches the factory green lighting very well and is wired through the dash light dimmer switch)
