They have all mounting types available, mine is bolt on, latching style.

Fit was... ok, my fenders "bolted on" a lot easier and I understand fiberglass takes some trimming but I had to modify the latch for it to lock up. I'd suggest the 2 pin style, I already went through 1 windshield because of this hood, the safety latch did not work although it is there.

The underside is partially finished. The stock bracing and outer edges are finished while the scoop is bare.

I paid ~$280 OTD, but I did pick it up here in town, here's the link:

Looks like a early 80's Mustang GT hood scoop.

I still have to do my finish work on it, but I used a JDM Toyota Starlet scoop to clear my 3.4 with no body lift. I was going to use a 3rd gen 4Runner sport scoop, but was having no luck in finding one, so I jumped on the Starlet scoop, when it came my way.

BTW, Olharleyman, I dont think that cowl is quite wide enough on the driver's side to clear the intake plenum. That is the reason that my Starlet scoop is off-set. I like the look, and it will be even better, once it's done.

Cowl hood clears 5VZFE motor no problem unless you got the motor up 3" higher than normal, or off-set to the drivers side.

Cool.

The shadow in that straight on shot had me thinking that it didn't go far enough to clear the front left corner of the plenum. That was the issue that I had when I did my scoop.
