Clutch pedal response
'95 4Runner 3.0 5spd 4x4 - When shifting I have to push the clutch pedal ALL the way to the floor to prevent the gears from grinding...is there something wrong here? or a way I can make it more responsive? Thanks

here here is a page from my FSM that shows how to check the clutch pedal freeplay...
that could be the problem, but i think it is more likely that you have a small leak somewhere...possibly in the slave cylinder or maybe the master cylinder.
but, might as well check the freeplay first...free and easy to check and to fix if that turns out to be it.

First bleed your master/slave cylinder. Get a buddy to help you do it. In fact, while you're at it, that brake fluid has been in the lines a looooong time. Bleed it until you see fresh fluid come out.

If the adjustments and fluid checks dont work just stick your head under the dash and make sure the bracket holding the pedal isnt cracked all to hell. I had to completly remove mine and weld it up.
