Clicking (not what you think) Fan Clutch?
Ever since I replaced my fan clutch with a new Toyota OEM unit I've gotten this clicking noise under the hood.
It happens at completely random times, it isn't really rhythmic. It was completely fine for the last two weeks but I finally caught it on audio for y'all to hear.
The clicking only lasts for 10-20 seconds after a cold start, after that its completely fine and may not return for a couple more weeks.
Will a defective fan clutch make this kind of noise?

I heard a similar clicking and it turned out to be my fan mounting brackets had broken off. They were rattling around in there.
Thats what I found when I replaced the fan.
