cleanest engine bays
Ok, first off lets see who has the cleanest engine bays/engines on their 89-95 runners and pickups....and for those that do have immaculately clean bays/engines how do you get them that way and keep them that way...mine is in horrible need of a deep cleaning...

The first step is you gotta take out the 3.0. Then it looks better.

i second the engine brite citrus. i dont have nothing to show for it, but it works

Not all of us have the 3.sux anyway! :hillbill:
Yep, Engine Brite Degreaser works well on the Engine for "minor" degreasing, but you want the gunk off your diff from years of sloppy oil changes by POs or neglect, you better get the Heavy Duty Engine Degreaser and soak it several times (talking about the bottom side here of the engine and the front diff, skid plate, etc.), let it sit, then hit it with a pressure washer unless you wanna be scrubbing on it until kingdom come. I just did one round on my 87 to clean up the engine bay and you can at least say it isn't filthy now and could see any leaks if there were any. :hillbill: :guitar: |
I've always been one to have a clean engine bay.....
The only photo I could find of the old V6.... http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/albums/al..._jpg.sized.jpg The new motor....Lexus V8, so much neater than the old V6. http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/albums/al...060w.sized.jpg http://www.4wdlinks.com.au/albums/al...065w.sized.jpg |
