cheapo canadian tire "cherry bomb" muffler
I realize this isn't the same as a Vortex Cherry Bomb.. but does anyone have one of these mufflers on their trucks? How's it sound?
They're center in, offset out, 2.25", 16" body, $42.99. The price is right. I'd like something with a little deeper sound than what I have now (stock I assume). My muffler has holes in it
Anyone run one?
Thanks,
Isaac

Can't tell you what it sounds like on a 4runner, but I had one on my civic. It didn't sound too too bad. It was just loud enough to hear when you were gassing it, but not to the point where it was pissing off the neighbors. And honestly, for 30 bucks you can't go wrong...

I put a Flowtech Purple Hornie on my 4runner and like the sound. It was about $45 Canadian dollars from the local parts dealer. 2.25" in and out glasspack round muffler.

i spent 90 bucks for a new muffler and tail pipe installed and i think its all right. thrush glasspipe. its deff a little deeper than my stock muff that had a big hole in it too. a little louder, but its nice.
